Step 1. Add AVI videos to the AVI to MPEG-2 converter

There are two available ways to import AVI files. One way is to directly drag your local AVI videos to this program. The second way is to click the “Add Files” button on the main interface. Then, a pop-up window will allow you to browse your computer and choose the AVI files you want to add. The imported videos can be showed as follows.

Step 2. Choose MPEG-2 as the output format

This app direcly offers you MPEG-2 in its format window. You can select it as the output format directly. To do it, you need to open this app’s output format window by either hitting the dropdown format list or clicking the format image on the Output Format panel of the main interface. At last, go to “Format”>”Video”>”MPEG-2″ in the pop-up window.

Note: The output files can be automatically stored in the default folder, the file path of which has been listed at the bottom of the main interface. To open it quickly and easily, you can direcly hit the “Open Folder” button there. However, if you want to customize the file path, you can click the “…” button to set it.

Step 3. Start AVI to MPEG-2 conversion

Click the “Convert” button at the bottom-right corner of this app’s main interface to convert AVI to MPEG-2. When conversion is done, you can click the “Open Folder” option to find these converted files. Note that the output files are with the extention .mpg.
The basic steps of burning DVD:
To burn MP4 to DVD with video converter, first, you need to click the “Burn” tab at the top to enter the DVD burning interface. After that, do the following things step by step:
1) Load your MP4 files in the same way above.
2) Choose one DVD menu template for your own DVD, and (optional) add background music or picture.
3) At the bottom-right corner of the “Burn” interface, hit the “Burn” button to start DVD burning.
